Wirral Estuary Phase 1

 

The site is located on the Wirral Estuary within the Wirral Council Planning Authority. The site is well located as it is Sout West facing onto the sea.

 

The 200 acre site is planned for a 40Mw solar energy park. The low visual impact location is not overlooked and sits on grade 3 agricultural land.

 

The Borough has a host of high energy consumers and manufacturing companies seeking green energy provision for their operations.

 

SEP are completing the viability and feasability studies with a positive indication pointing towards a planning and grid submisssion towards the second or third quarter of 2014.

 

Upon approval the site will be fully operational during the second or third quarter of 2015.
